About Us

St. John’s Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic Parish established in 1972 under the Arch Diocese of Hyderabad which is administered by Divine Word Missionaries(SVDs) The church is situated along the National Highway No:- 65 (Hyderabad-Mumbai high way) about 25kms from Hyderabad, beside BHEL Township.
On June 18th 1974, Rev. Fr. Joseph Puthumana SVD came to Ramachandrapuram and took over the parish. He completed the church construction and the same was blessed on 15th January 1980 by Most Rev.S. Arualappa, the Archbishop of Hyderabad.
Today the church is at a central place serving the pastoral needs of the faithful. Our faith community is very well known for lively weekend liturgies, prayer services, Eucharistic exposition and benediction.
Today St John’s Church has grown to one of the most active parishes with more than 1500 members. We are a vibrant parish with a variety of ministries and groups like St John’s Youth, Society of St.Vincent de Paul, Charismatic Prayer groups, sunday catechism for Children…..

The Mission of the Parish is to love God, love our neighbors, share the gospel and build the kingdom of God. As a Catholic community, St. John's parish will help all people encounter Christ by: a) Witnessing to Christ through our daily lives; b) Nurturing lifelong faith through recognizing, developing and sharing our gifts c) Celebrating the Sacrements and d) Supporting and enriching small faith communities.
